Social Media and Community Outreach Recruiter

Location: Oak Creek, WI

Part Time, Flexible Schedule: day, evening and weekend hours up to 20 hours/week

Role Overview

As a market research company, Reckner conducts studies with consumers and healthcare professionals. Our offices in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Harrison, New York and Chalfont, Pennsylvania conduct market research studies with consumers through in-person product testing, focus groups and placing products with consumers to use in their homes.

We are looking for a talented Social Media Recruiter who can build our database of consumers to participate in research studies. The Social Media Recruiter will also partner with our Project Management team to recruit consumers for specific projects that we are conducting. The position includes defining new and creative approaches to communicating via social media outlets, the internet and by phone to expand and strengthen the recruitment efforts of our company. The Social Media Recruiter will drive our efforts to enhance our social media presence to ensure we are continuously attracting respondents to become members of our database and will serve as a resource of social media expertise for the company. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining metrics to measure database development.

The Social Media Recruiter will have responsibility for developing relationships within the local communities in each location, providing community outreach through social media, phone contact and event attendance/coordination.

Skill Set, Background and Orientation

  • Demonstrated experience with multiple social media platforms
  • Understanding of how to leverage a variety of social media channels for recruiting purposes
  • Creative thinking and problem solving ability
  • Ability to build and maintain positive and highly responsive relationships with community members
  • Ability to travel to recruitment events in the Oak Creek WI area
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage projects and tasks
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Market research experience preferred
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
