(JRA) was initially directed by its owner, Jane Reckner, who built the company on a foundation of client service, quality and teamwork. Today, her son, David, is President of Reckner and her son, Peter, is a Senior Vice President. Peter Reckner is Senior Vice President of Innovation and co-owner of the company. Peter has 20+ years' experience in market research across various industries and functions. During his career, Peter has worked in account management, operations management, IT, and data processing with an expertise in technology-based research. Peter has extensive experience surveying a wide range of audiences across a variety of methodologies and geographies, both in the US and internationally. He has collaborated with clients on project design and methodology to provide the most insightful results. Peter is a member of CASRO (Council of American Research Survey Organizations) and Pharmaceutical Market Research Group (PMRG).
Gina Cassel is Senior Vice President managing research operations for Facilities, Sample and Blueberry. Gina has more than 30 years' experience in the research industry, with extensive knowledge and expertise on the data collection side of the business, working with agency, healthcare and consumer clients. In addition, Gina also spent several years working as a field director for a full-service, medically-focused research firm. Gina has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research logistics which enables her to lead her teams in creatively and successfully completing projects for all of Reckner's clients.
David Reckner is President and co-owner of the company. David has 20+ years' experience in market research and has held several positions within the company. From part-time Mall Interviewer during college to Chief Information Officer, David's diverse responsibilities within the organization enable him to understand client and operational needs from multiple perspectives. Prior to leading Reckner, David was a manager in the music business, where he oversaw the production of more than 30 albums, 6 music videos and numerous concerts and tours. David is a member of the Pharmaceutical Market Research Group (PMRG) and CASRO (Council of American Research Survey Organizations).
Sharon Hettrick-Histand is Vice President for Human Resources and provides overall strategic HR leadership. Sharon has more than 20 years' experience in the research industry and 25+ years in human resources. She focuses on aligning people with the company initiatives and values, and she manages all talent acquisition, recognition programs, performance management systems, career / succession planning, and employee development. Sharon has experience with staffing and management contracts and is the liaison for staffing contracts with our clients. She also serves as an internal consultant to the management team on all personnel issues.
David Wolf is Chief Financial Officer, responsible for all of the financial operations for the Reckner companies, including accounting, planning and treasury functions. Dave has more than 25 years of financial experience for mid-sized, entrepreneurial companies. He specializes in helping organizations make the transformation from opportunistic to strategic approaches in conducting business by providing financial infrastructure to help facilitate the necessary changes. Prior to joining Reckner, Dave spent 13 years at a rapid-growth software company and played a significant role that led to two successful exits, both of which were at significant increasing valuations.
